Project: A project to design an intervention for a historical society. I chose the Moche people, who went extinct due to lack of water. The hyperarid high desert where they lived received very little rainfall, but the coastal air was extremely humid. I studied the society's architecture and their spiritual practices and designed fog-catching nets, a modern but simple solution that would have been possible in that era. The nets were designed to fit into the architectural setting of the time and integrated into their belief system.
